Learning from one another: Projects for sustainable development

The project database will help you to learn from the experience of others and to help you find interesting partners to talk or to cooperate with. This is not a case of showing the "best examples" but of pointing out which strategies have had most success under which particular circumstances.

It is not necessary to be involved in a formal Agenda 21 process to be included in the databank. It is more important that through being implemented locally, the projects treat global development in an environmentally and socially responsible way, actively include social groups in local decision processes, encourage sustainability and make a real contribution to relieving poverty.

Updating the data in the database is the responsibility of the respective players. If you are included in the Player database, you will receive confirmation by e-mail. This will give you an identity number that will enable you to make changes to your own data. Please note that if communication is to function smoothly, we need to be informed of any address changes immediately. You can decide yourself how many languages you want to use in the database. Please don't forget to add the details of the project institution to the Players menu.

The project database is organised thematically and regionally and by the players. There is also a full-text-search function available in the Service menu.
